Ezra 5:10-12

¹⁰ And we also asked them their names in order to make known to you, and that we might write down the names of the men who were at their head.

‘We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and are rebuilding the house that was built many years ago, ^(A)which a great king of Israel built and completed.

¹² But ^(B)because our fathers had provoked the God of heaven to wrath, ^(C)He gave them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, the Chaldean, who destroyed this house and took the people away into exile in Babylon.
